Sports Bra Review: Anita Active DynamixStar Racerback Sports Bra

Sports Bra expert Amy gives her take on the Anita Active DynamixStar Racerback Sports Bra. Check out what Amy has to say about this offering from Anita.

Amy’s Review

“Hi, I’m Amy from Sports Bras Direct looking at the Anita Active DynamiXstar Sports Bra. This is a high-impact support bra. It’s a non-wired bra, so it has nice, firm support through the under band.

It’s also a non-moulded bra. So the material follows the natural contours of your breasts . With a side support panel to help with that breast shape as well and the support.

Made of an incredibly lightweight material and really soft. You’ll hardly notice that you’re wearing it. It’s also made from sweat management material. So, it breathes really well.

It also has additional air vents. Through the middle here between your breasts. And also on the back panels there are lots of mesh vents as well.

You can see it is a racer back design. So, it goes on over the top of your head. It then does up simply with a standard hook and eye clasp at the bottom.

If we have a look inside the bra at the inside of the cups. It’s a soft, towelling type material –again, that sweat absorption. But also no seams at all in the cup to make it a really comfortable wear.

The straps are padded, again for that comfort factor. And it’s really easy to adjust the straps when you’re wearing the bra. Simply unclip at the front. Alter the height that you need the straps at. And just re-clip back together again.

So, if you’re after a high-impact support bra that’s non-moulded and non-wired. A racer back design. Really breathable. And made from a really soft and lightweight material. Then definitely have a look at the Anita Active DynamiXstar.”

Determine Your Size With Our Bra Size Calculator

1. Underbust Size

2. Overbust Size

Measuring Your Underbust

Stand straight with your arms hanging casually by your side; if you can get a friend to measure you around your chest, directly under your bust.

Ideally, measure yourself while you are not wearing a bra, or if you are wearing one, be careful not to sit the tape over any part of your bra.  The tape should sit directly under your breasts (where your bra band would normally sit), should be horizontal all the way around and be as tight as possible without being uncomfortable (exactly like your bra’s underband).  This measurement is your Underbust.

Measuring Your Overbust

Still standing straight measure horizontally around the fullest part of your bust (usually over the nipples).  This is best done while you’re wearing a good fitting bra.  The tape should not be to tight resting lightly on your body. Make sure the tape is straight across your back and is parallel to the floor.  This measurement is your Overbust.

Finding Your Perfect Fit

Finding your correct Australian Bra Size is as easy as 1, 2, 3. One; follow the instructions below to find your underbust and overbust size. Two; slide the bars to your correct size position to discover your recommended size. Three; start shopping!

  2. Overbust size; measure around the fullest part of your breasts. Read more below.

Crop Tops

Crop tops can fit differently to cupped bras.  Generally speaking they are more similar to women’s clothing sizes.

XS = 8    S = 10   M = 12   L = 14   XL = 16    XXL = 18

Sports Bras Direct recommends crop tops for cup sizes A-D only. You must also check the specific style of crop top suits the level of impact you require.  Breasts that are bigger than a D cup require more specific support from a cup size sports bra.

Each Brand has a slight variation in their actual measurement guidelines for crop tops. Please check brand specific sizing below to establish the best size crop to suit you.
