Amy’s Review

“Hi, I’m Amy from Sports Bras Direct looking at the Anita Active Extreme Control Sports Bra. The first thing I noticed is it’s a really lightweight bra. And it’s made from very, very soft material.

It’s definitely comfortable enough to wear all day. As well as for any high-impact activity.

It’s a non-wired bra so it has a nice, firm support band across the bottom. The cups are also non-moulded with no padding. So, it follows the natural contours of your breasts.

You will notice that it does have some paneling details here through the side. This is to help support the side of your breast and give a good bust shape as well.

It’s made of a very breathable, sweat management material. And you’ll also see on the back that there’s additional ventilation. As well through the back paneling.

The support there does come up nice and high. Really making sure that you’re getting that firm support all the way around.

It does have regular straps. These are shaped really well to stay on your shoulders. And they’ve also got some nice padding through the top as well to make it nice and comfortable.

It’s done up through a regular hook and eye closure at the back. So, it’s nice and easy to put on.

Looking at the inside of the bra. We can see in the cups that there’s no seams at all on the inside of the cups. This makes it really comfortable to wear. There is nothing that can rub.

It’s also made of a soft sort of toweling type material. Once again for that sweat management.

So, if you’re after a high-impact bra. The Anita Active Extreme Control is definitely worth looking at. It’s incredibly popular with some of our bigger busted ladies as well.”

Determine Your Size With Our Bra Size Calculator

1. Underbust Size

2. Overbust Size

Measuring Your Underbust

Stand straight with your arms hanging casually by your side; if you can get a friend to measure you around your chest, directly under your bust.

Ideally, measure yourself while you are not wearing a bra, or if you are wearing one, be careful not to sit the tape over any part of your bra.  The tape should sit directly under your breasts (where your bra band would normally sit), should be horizontal all the way around and be as tight as possible without being uncomfortable (exactly like your bra’s underband).  This measurement is your Underbust.

Measuring Your Overbust

Still standing straight measure horizontally around the fullest part of your bust (usually over the nipples).  This is best done while you’re wearing a good fitting bra.  The tape should not be to tight resting lightly on your body. Make sure the tape is straight across your back and is parallel to the floor.  This measurement is your Overbust.

Finding Your Perfect Fit

Finding your correct Australian Bra Size is as easy as 1, 2, 3. One; follow the instructions below to find your underbust and overbust size. Two; slide the bars to your correct size position to discover your recommended size. Three; start shopping!

Crop Tops

Crop tops can fit differently to cupped bras.  Generally speaking they are more similar to women’s clothing sizes.

XS = 8    S = 10   M = 12   L = 14   XL = 16    XXL = 18

Sports Bras Direct recommends crop tops for cup sizes A-D only. You must also check the specific style of crop top suits the level of impact you require.  Breasts that are bigger than a D cup require more specific support from a cup size sports bra.

Each Brand has a slight variation in their actual measurement guidelines for crop tops. Please check brand specific sizing below to establish the best size crop to suit you.
