“Hi, I’m Amy, from Sports Bras Direct. Today I’m going to have a closer look at the Berlei Electrify Underwire Sports Bra.
Now, this is a long-term staple from Berlei. It has been around for many years, and worn by many ladies, both for exercise and sport. But also, for everyday support as well.
Let’s have a closer look at the features. Firstly, looking at the cups. The cups are underwired, so great for breast separation and shaping. The cup fabric itself is non-moulded, so it is a thinner cup fabric. It has seaming on the cups for both shaping and support. This can also be seen here on the inside of the cups as well.
If we have a look at the straps, they are convertible straps. So, they can be worn in the regular position and are adjustable as the back. They also can be swapped over to a cross-over, simply by lengthening the straps and, unclipping at the bottom, here, and then swapping over. This will need to be done when you are not wearing the bra, and then putting the bra on over your head.
The under-band here has three hook-and-eye clasps, and lightly padded so that you don’t get any rub against your skin. Nice under-bands with mesh panelling for ventilation. Good side support as well coming around to the front.
So, if you are after a good support sports bra, comfortable for all-day wear as well. Nice underwire with shaping in the cups, so you get good breast shape, underneath your shirts.
