Amy's Review

“Hi. I’m Amy from Sports Bras Direct. Today I’m having a closer look at the Panache Underwired Racerback Sports Bra.

Now, as the name suggests the cups are underwired on this bra. The outside of the cups do have some seaming and panels. Some mesh ventilation across the front, and seaming to the sides. This is to help with both the support and shaping of the breasts. If we look at the inside of the cups, you can see that the inside is completely seam-free to prevent any chafing against your skin. The cups are also lightly moulded. So there is some thickness to the cups, again this helps with the support, but also gives a little bit of modesty as well.

If we have a look at the straps, they come up over the shoulders. There is good thickness to the straps for comfort and this model from Panache is a permanent racerback style. The other Panache sports underwired bra has the straps that clip together if you want racerback. Whereas this is permanent and uses the modern technology of a magnet. Now, it’s simple just to open the magnet up when you’re putting the bra on, and then if you reach behind your shoulders the magnet is super easy to do up as you can see.

Now, some people have asked how secure this magnet actually is when you’re running or working out. I have tried and tested this magnet and it has never come undone. It is super strong when you pull on it. The straps are adjustable like everyday bra straps.

If we have a look at the band. It does up with a standard hook-and-eye fastening there. Which is also lightly padded to prevent any rubbing. The under-band is nice and wide as it comes across under the arms to give good side support.

So this is a high-impact style from Panache. The front of the bra is very similar to their long-term staple, the underwired sports bra, which is incredibly popular. The main difference with this bras is, if you always wear your Panache bra in the racerback position. You may find this magnet back is a little more comfortable, versus clipping together the regular style straps on the other style.

So if you’re after high-impact support and you’re happy with a permanent racerback this is a really great underwired sports bra from Panache.”
