Stand straight and let your arms hang casually by your side. It’s better to have a friend measure you by wrapping a tape measure around your chest, directly under your bust. Ensure the tape wraps around just right, is not too tight and is as straight as possible all the way around.
This represents how the under-band of your bra should fit, so don’t let the tape sit awkwardly over your bra or underwire. You can do this while not wearing a bra, but if you do decide to wear one, make sure it fits right.
Again, stand straight with your arms hanging comfortably by your side. Measure the fullest part of your bust (usually over the nipples). For best results ask a friend to assist you.
The tape should rest lightly on your body and straight across your back, parallel to the floor. Do this while wearing a good-fitting, non-padded bra to get the correct measurement.
