Hi there! My name is Sophie @this.midwife.runs I am a wife, mum of three, and midwife!

I first started running 4 and a half years ago to better my mental and physical health! 31kg down and countless half marathons and 2x marathons later, I have well and truly found my passion for running!

I had always been hesitant to try trail running, but some friends of mine got me into it and I was hooked!

Unfortunately due to my sudden love of trails and elevation, whilst also running PB’s on the flat, I developed bone stress injuries. Just when I was getting faster and stronger!

8 months later I am well and truly on the comeback and I have more ambition then ever to conquer the trails and complete an ultra!!
