Amy’s Review
“Hi, I’m Amy from Sports Bras Direct. Today I am looking at the Shock Absorber Ultimate Run Bra Padded.
First of all, let’s have a look at the padded cups. The padding is part of the cup material and is not removable. The cups encapsulate that is they hold each breast individually. So, you get a nice smooth shape to the breasts.
Between the cups there is a thinner panel of breathable material that helps with ventilation and perspiration management as you exercise. The cups are non-wired with a firm and wide under band to help keep you supported. Looking at the inside of the cups you can see they are completely smooth and seamfree.
Turning the bra around and looking at the straps. You can see the shoulder straps are nice and wide for comfort. These come over the shoulders and into a racerback design at the back. The material at the back is a breathable mesh that also continues under the arms into the side.
The bottom band does up with a standard hook and eye clasp. This allows you to easily adjust your band fit. The fit can further be adjusted in the shoulders by sliding the hook out at the top and adjusting as desired. The top hook closure is a clip. This you simply pull together and clip up.
The benefit of having a double clasp racerback design is that when you take off the bra. You can completely open it up at the back. Therefore, you do not need to try and take it off over your head when you return from your exercise sweaty.
In summary.
- Mesh panels to the back.
- Wide under band.
- Padded cups to the front.
This is a fantastic bra if you are looking for high impact support whilst maintaining a nice breast shape.”
