Amy's Review

“Hi, I’m Amy from Sports Bras Direct. And today I’m having a closer look at the Traction Control Lite Minimiser Sports Bra.

So, it’s a high impact bra from Triumph, and as the name suggests, it’s also a minimiser. Which helps to make your breasts one cup size smaller.

If we have a closer look at some of the features. The cups are underwired, which is great for breast separation, and also shaping. The cups themselves are made of a double layer and we’ll look at those features too.

Across the top is a mesh panel, to help with breathability, and this top layer is also completely seam-free. So, nice and smooth underneath your shirt.

If we have a look at the inside of the cups. You can also see that they are made from a mesh fabric for breathability and are also seam-free.

Now, let’s have a look at the straps. So the straps are actually adjustable in two  places. So you can adjust at the front by unhooking, and you can lengthen or shorten and then hook back on again.

Across the top they are wider and padded for comfort, and then if we have a look at the back. They adjust, again, at the back, like an everyday bra-strap would.

They are also convertible, so you can either wear in the regular position, or you can cross them over. To cross them over you just need to lengthen the straps, then unclip at the bottom. Then you clip back on again, in that cross position.

So it’s best to do this before you put the bra on, and then you need to put the bra on over your head, and do up at the back. The back is done up with a standard hook-and-eye, the hook-and-eye clasp does have a good level of padding over the top to prevent any kind of chafing.

The under band is nice and wide, and smooth against your skin. You can see there, as well, the good support all around the back, and the sides coming underneath the arms.

So, this is a great option for high-impact support, underwired with nice breast shaping, with that nice minimiser feel as well.

It might not be as great for the smaller cup sizes, as it is designed for mid-to-larger cups, with that minimiser effect. Also great for all-day wear, as well. So a good all-round option.”
